We offer intensive English courses for beginners and advanced learners at all levels, i.e. from elementary level (A1, A2) to intermediate level (B1, B2) to advanced level (C1, C2). Intensive courses are useful in all areas – be it at work, at university or on holiday.
Intensive English Course in Small Groups
Do you want to learn English as quickly as possible, for example for professional reasons or for your next holidays? Then an intensive course is what you need. At the Winterthur Sprachen Akademie, we offer courses at all levels, from beginners to advanced (A1 to C2), and lessons take place in the morning. You can learn English at a reasonable price, for example, Fr. 300,- for two weeks.
You can choose between two different options. If you want to learn quickly, it is best to take a normal intensive course. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday and last three hours a day. A more relaxed option is the semi-intensive course. Here lessons are scheduled from Monday to Thursday for one and a half hours per day. If you are working, this course is particularly suitable for you as lessons take place in the evening.
Courses at all levels
The Sprachen Akademie offers courses at all levels (A1 to C2). If you are a beginner, it is easier to find the right course. But if you already have some previous knowledge, you can take a free placement test either online or at our school. Afterward, our experts will determine the right course for you based on your results.
Courses for different target groups
The reasons for learning English are very different. If you are a professional, but still want to make rapid progress, you can choose the semi-intensive course with lessons scheduled in the evening. If on the other hand, you want to progress faster, the intensive course with lessons in the morning is the best choice, especially for holiday courses. Just come to Winterthur for a week or two and improve your English significantly and in a short time. In addition to our regular English courses, we also offer special courses in Business English. There you will learn how to conduct business, negotiation and sales conversations in English as well as the principles of English business correspondence. In this way, you will become more successful in your professional life.

Group size is a decisive factor for your learning success. The intensive courses are taught exclusively in small groups so that you can speak as much as possible. The focus is on the active use of the language. This way you learn vocabulary and grammar almost by yourself and the learning effort is reduced. Semi-Intensive Courses in Zurich und Winterthur
Our semi-intensive courses take place from Monday to Thursday and with shortened course times. Accordingly, the costs are lower compared to intensive courses. Naturally, all teachers are native speakers so that you learn the correct pronunciation right from the start.
You can choose between morning and evening courses. The evening courses are ideal for working participants.
