ÖSD – Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch

The ÖSD exam checks the language level of German as a foreign language. The exams are offered and accepted worldwide. The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages is considered.

The exams serve different purposes:

• professional or academic recognition
• Visa applications (e.g. residence permit, naturalization)
• personal further training in German

The test covers the basic skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking

Exam costs without intensive course
Exam level A1 and A2: 250 CHF
Exam level B1 and B2: 350 CHF

Our intensive courses take place every day from Monday to Friday. Since you use the language every day, the forgetting curve is very low. You can also practice the language in your free time. The intensive courses are taught exclusively in small groups so that you get to speak as much as possible. In addition, in small groups the risk of you assuming a classmate’s incorrect pronunciation is reduced.

At Sprachen Akademie you can learn German at all levels (beginner to advanced), as we offer courses from level A1 to level C2. After completing a course, you will of course receive a certificate from us confirming your language skills.
If you already have previous knowledge, you can take a free placement test with us, either online from home or at the language school in Zurich, Winterthur or Basel. Based on your results, we will find the right course for you. On the one hand, you save time because you can build on your existing knowledge, but on the other hand, you are not overwhelmed.

Evenings: Monday to Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (2 lessons daily)
